We are honored that you are considering us as your baby’s pediatrician.
Expectant Parent Visit
We are happy to schedule a complimentary office visit to meet you and answer any questions you may have about your upcoming hospital delivery and care at Sunshine Pediatrics OC.
At the Hospital
During your admission process at Hoag Hospital, inform the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatrician. Once your baby is born (congratulations!) our pediatricians will see you and your new baby at the hospital.
If you are delivering at a Non-Hoag Hospital, inform the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatrician. One of the hospital staff pediatricians will see your baby during your hospital stay.
After the Hospital
When you and your baby are ready to go home, please call our office to schedule a newborn follow-up visit. Our staff will also be available to assist with any registration questions.
What To Bring for Your First Visit
- Any hospital paperwork including screening results (ie for your baby's hearing, heart, and jaundice), laboratory tests, and immunization records.
- Health insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
*Remember to add your new baby to your insurance policy within 30 days of birth to ensure coverage.
